We are a dedicated team of six teenagers who are passionate about saving the environment. As more and more news about the negative impacts of disposable cups on Mother Earth flooded the internet, we felt a strong and urgent need to take action. As teenagers who have an eye for all things trendy, we decided to piggyback on the reusable straw idea and create reusable cups instead. However, these cups are already out there in the market so we brainstormed different ways to tackle the issue of people refusing to use these cups. We gathered as much data as we could from the largest consumers of disposable cups, office workers, and empathised with them. Through this, we invented a variety of ways, tapping on convenience, design, and sustainability, to improve and develop the existing cup to serve our target consumers and most importantly, the environment.
